Horrible seats at an astronomical price
I wish I could get a refund on the entire night. That issue was made worse by the other patrons coming late, getting up and moving around, getting drinks and generally being disruptive. I don't think I will ever go there again. Jane Remover read old stuff, some stuff that was tweaked, retold some jokes from other people. There was peeling paint, water stains, burned lightbulbs, generally the place (except for the Orchestra floor) was a mess. The sound was terrible as there were no speakers in the upper balcony. I could not believe the Auditorium theatre allows food and drinks in the house. I would not recommend others to pay the incredibly high price to go there either. Of the four times I have heard her read it was by far the worst and of the hundreds of authors I have seen read it was definitely the worst experience.
